Overseas Mission Links
Our Church currently has links with two projects which are run overseas.
The first is helping to support a missionary couple with children who work in Southeast Asia.
Due to the sensitivities of their work and the political situation in the area we will call them BJ and M. Their sending charity is the Church Mission Society (CMS) and the couple are passionate about empowering young people.
M works in Christian Education and BJ works with the Anglican church providing vocational training.

The second is the Papa Keith Vocational Institute in Pallisa Uganda. It was built between 2000 and 2010 and offers educational and vocational courses to the community in and around Pallisa.
Many students come from challenging backgrounds. Some students receive financial help towards their fees. In February 2024 there were a total of 106 students enrolled on various courses with 60 sponsored by the “Making a Difference Project” of which 11 were sponsored by our church.
The Making a Difference Project is a means whereby individuals and churches are able to support students through their courses by paying half of their fees
