Most of us will encounter times in our lives when we are struggling. Whether the problem is physical or mental health, a relative that requires substantial care, relationships, addictive tendencies, financial difficulties, bereavement, or just finding life a struggle.
Offering support, encouragement and care to people, especially when they face difficult and challenging times in their life, is something that many of us do naturally and willingly.
We have a committed team of volunteers, who work alongside our clergy and family-work team to offer this kind of support to members of our community and church family. All our volunteers come with years of life experience and a listening ear, and in addition many of the team have considerable experience in various caring professions.
We value every person for the individual they are and do our very best to both support and sign-post people to the most appropriate form of care.
All of our Pastoral Team are trusted and approved by the church, they have been DBS checked and have completed the Church of England safeguard training.
If you would like to chat to one of our team for your own benefit, or that of a friend or neighbour, please contact the Church Office on 02380 406866.
